During math time this week. . . 

• Mr. L. showed us a way to divide, and he did a longer way, and he said that if we did that way, he said by the time we finished, we would have grey hairs. 

• So then 2 people both said, "So you did it?" 

• And he literally opened the window and went out, grabbed snow, and acted like he was going to throw snow at the 2 kids who said he did it.

• We also started learning long division with the "Long Division Family" method. Our made-up family dressed up and kept us laughing and entertained as we learned the steps. 

• We will be working to learn long division over the coming MONTHS. It is HARD WORK.

• Please help students on their homework in the coming weeks as they learn the steps to long division. 😉
