During math time since break:

• We did games to review multiplication, division, rounding, and subtracting.

• We also took our iLearn Checkpoint 2 last Tuesday. Students worked very hard to show what they know which helps Mr. L. know how to help students in coming weeks.

• We started a unit on equivalent fractions. We used fraction tiles and fraction circles to start to visualize how to see equivalent fractions.

• We learned the butterfly version of comparing fractions. The butterfly version of comparing is done by multiplying the numerator of one fraction with the denominator of the second fraction and comparing that number to multiplying the numerator of the second fraction by the denominator of the first fraction.
