This week . . .
It is Thanksgiving break so we only had school on Monday and Tuesday! (As you know)😀
We had our first silent action on Tuesday. It was really fun! As a class we figured out that normally normal auctions (that are loud) the prices are higher than silent auctions because they are more exciting. Â
At the end of every month we celebrate all the b-days that happened. We had mini cream puffs and rice crispy treats from the birthday people.
Some of us paid desk rent and some of us are waiting until they get their paychecks because they will have enough money to buy there desk. If you were wondering you have to have 2,100 Sammy bucks to buy your desk. (Sammy bucks are our money system, we get paid Sammy bucks when we get our pay check.)
We had our first silent action on Tuesday.Â
We have some photos of the accountant and bankers getting ready for the silent auction. They were the ones who decided how much everything was (with the help of Mr.L)
This week we had lots of done with work time.
Dear Families,
At Bethany, we see the incredible value of getting kids outside in all kinds of weather. This includes going outside when it is very cold. Children play uninhibited when they are dressed prepared for the weather. It is also best for their bodies to start by wearing warm clothes and then if their muscles get warm by moving their bodies, they can shed some layers. Here is a guide for you and your student to know what clothes students should be wearing to school as the weather gets colder and we see some snowflakes in the forecast!
Wearing long pants (and snow pants), boots, winter coats, and waterproof gloves will become the staples of our winter weather gear!Â
Thank you for helping your child be comfortable and able to play freely outside this winter!Â
