We learned about the Trail of Death, and we learned about what happened when the U.S. signed treaties that were usually unfair.
On Tuesday we only worked on making treaties easier to read.
We finished reading the last of the treaty and we read Chief Menominee's letters that all talked about him not wanting to sell his land and him saying he wouldn't sign the treaty.
