In E.L.A. / Social Studies. . .

• On Monday we worked on getting ready for our 4th grade play on Friday. Some people worked on writing the play, some people worked on costumes, and some people did "Done with Work."

• On Tuesday Mr. L. printed out a copy of the written play for everyone. We edited a little bit as a class, then we assigned parts.

• On Wednesday we practiced our lines and got into groups, each group made the set for a scene. 

• On Friday we performed our play for our Bruin Crews.

  • After the play we were proud of 8 things:

    • Reading new words in the script.

    • We learned from our mistakes.

    • We are proud that we messed up and kept going.

    • We are proud for working hard.

    • We are proud for not getting mad at each other.  

    • We are proud that we got the set off of stage.

    • We are proud because we did really good without lots of practice.

    • We are proud of how the set looked.
