In E.L.A. / Social Studies. . .

• For the end of the year we got into groups and our project was to do something that changes or helps the world. One group is encouraging people to get soap for MCC (Mennonite Central Committee.) Another group is raising money for the Elkhart Humane Society to help animals,  and that is only 2 of the groups. 

• We are not relying on Mr. L. so we choses jobs for our project. Including group leader, group advertiser, community involvement and  resource gather. 

• On Monday we worked on planning our PSA (public service announcement.) 

• We recorded ourselves doing our PSA's then we send it to Mrs. Hershberger and sometime next week she will get teachers to put it up on the board and watch it. 

• On Tuesday we kept working on our PSA in our groups.

• On Thursday we recorded our PSA's.  

• On Friday we were just finishing the planing parts of it: we have lemonade stands in the car line next week! Make sure to bring cash on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

• On Friday we also read chapter 13 in The Hope Chest and then wrote a summary.
