Coach Taylor is in his 8th year in charge of the JF Girls Tennis Team.

Before coming to JF, Taylor was a teacher and coach at Halifax County High School from 1997-2014 where he taught Social Studies and coached Wrestling, Boys and Girls Cross Country, Boys and Girls Soccer and Boys and Girls Tennis.

Originally from Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, Taylor wrestled for Wilkes University from 1990-95 where he lettered 4 years and earned numerous academic awards.  Taylor was also a member of the U.S. National Sombo Wrestling Team from 1990-2005 where he earned a number of international medals including a silver at the 1991 World Championships.

Taylor earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Wilkes University in 1994 and a Masters of Science in Education in 2000.

Coach Taylor lives in Forest with his wife Samantha and their two girls Kennedy and Quinn.
