Coach Martin is the Head Volleyball Coach at Jefferson Forest High School and brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience to the program. She has a strong passion for developing athletes both on and off the court and is committed to building a positive team culture.

Coach Martin is a graduate of Liberty High School, where she played varsity volleyball for four years as a member of the Lady Minutemen. She also played club volleyball with Next Revolution Volleyball Club for four seasons, competing on their National Team and traveling throughout the East Coast for tournaments.

Before joining Jefferson Forest, Coach Martin served as the Varsity Head Volleyball Coach at Liberty High School and previously coached at Eastern View High School as a Freshman Volleyball Coach. She has also shared her love of the game through travel volleyball coaching with Culpeper Juniors and Net Force Volleyball.

Coach Martin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Leadership from Virginia Tech. She also earned her Doctorate in Curriculum, Instruction, and Leadership from Liberty University. She has experience teaching at both the elementary and high school levels and currently teaches for Bedford County Public Schools.

Coach Martin is excited to continue growing the volleyball program and being a part of the Cavalier community.
