Coach Crews comes to the Cavaliers from E.C. Glass High School where he was the Offensive Coordinator for the Hilltoppers under Head Coach Jeff Woody.  Crews was on Woody's staff since July of 2018, holding numerous coaching positions including Quarterbacks and Offensive Line, as well as Strength and Conditioning Coordinator.

Before coming to Glass, Crews was in the college game from 2012-2018, serving in Assistant Coaching positions at both North Carolina Wesleyan College and Christopher Newport University.  He has spent extensive time coaching on both sides of the ball, and has been a position coach for almost every position on the field. 

Crews is originally from Lynchburg.  He graduated from Brookville High School in 2008 where he was an All-District and All-Region Selection on the offensive line.  He went on to play lineman at CNU from 2008-2011, where he was selected for All-Conference and All-State teams, as well as being honored as a member of USA South Conference's 50th Anniversary Team.

Crews looks forward to "creating a comprehensive football program at Jefferson Forest where student-athletes will learn the all-important life skills of responsibility, accountability, teamwork and self-discipline".
