When you receive the following error when trying to update a user's (Purchaser/Realtor/Assignee) email address, please follow the steps below.
1. To begin, we would need to check if the new email address is associated with another user on another existing deal. To check this Go to Menu - Sales Centre - Deal Finder - Search by Email.
If a deal exists with this new email address, please contact Avesdo Support for further instructions.
2. If the new email address is not associated with another deal, go to Menu - Reporting - Purchaser / Realtor - Find by Email. Here search using the new email address. If a user profile already exists with this email address, select 'Edit'.
3. Update the email address for this user to an alternate dummy email address and 'Save'.
4. You can now update the email address for the original user to the new email address from Deal Centre.
