It is possible to add a purchaser to a deal after the contract has been created. However, you must either manually edit the contract and addenda, or create a new “Add Purchaser Addendum”
Note: Sometimes, the most time-efficient method is to collapse the deal and start over.
On the Deal Centre, click on the “Purchasers, Realtors, Sales Reps, Realtors and other deal uses” tab. Select “Add / Change Purchaser”. Enter an email address and create the purchaser’s account normally.
Option 1: Edit contract and addenda manually. Open each individual document and enter Edit mode. Type in the name of the purchaser that was added and drop it in the appropriate spot. Create initial boxes for each field.
Option 2: Create a separate addendum called “Add Purchaser”. Please consult your lawyers.
Option 3: Collapse the Deal completely. Create a new Deal with the new Purchaser added.
