NOTE: If you add the managing broker profile BEFORE creating the commission form, then the signature & initial placeholders will automatically appear. If you create the commission form first and add the Managing Broker profile later, then signature & initial placeholders will need to add it manually for each deal. See instructions below.
1. Gather the following information about the Managing Broker:
Name (Title, First, Last)
Phone
2. Add Managing Broker profile:
Click on the people icon in the grey bar
Click on “Add/Change User” drop-down and select “Add Managing Broker”
Enter an email address and click “Find”
A profile will appear and enter in the required broker information. An email address will be required for the broker to sign using Avesdo. Once the profile is saved, the broker will receive an email saying their Avesdo Account has been created.
NOTE: You only have to create the profile once for a managing broker as it saves the profile just like a purchaser and for other deals, you can search and add quickly the broker profile.
3. Add Managing Broker signature placeholder (if the form has been generated BEFORE Managing Broker profile was created)
Open the Agent Commission form, click “Edit” and then “Sign Field”.
Click on the arrow and find the Managing Broker signature in the drop-down.
Select and drag and drop to the location on the form.
When the broker logs into their Avesdo account, they will see all agent commission forms that require their signature.
Recommendation
We recommend that once you add an individual managing broker profile to a deal, email the broker to advise that they will be set up with a Avesdo account and this is where they will be signing all deals associated with their brokerage. You can create your own email template under Menu / Settings / Templates.
