Introducing web-based collaborative strategic reading into L2 instruction
In response to the recent shift to online instruction caused by the global pandemic, this presentation compares L2 students’ perception of in-person collaborative reading tasks with their web-based counterparts and explores technological tools enabling online collaboration while working on these tasks.

Tetiana Tytko is currently a Ph.D. student in SLA in the School of Linguistics, Literatures, and Cultures at the University of Maryland, College Park. She received her MA in Linguistics in the Department of Linguistics at Ohio University and MA in English Language and Literature at Chernivtsi National University. Her research interests lie in the intersection of CALL and instructed SLA, technology-mediated TBLT, L2 learner engagement, and corpus linguistics.
