“We’re All Wondering What Your Home Run Call Is Going to Be” Analyzing a Woman-led Major League Baseball Broadcast through a CA Approach
Jenny Cavnar was the first woman to lead a Major League Baseball broadcast. Transcriptions and conversation analysis frameworks allowed for observations on how she established her credibility and how her peers accepted her lead role. Cavnar’s exhibitions of knowledge and guidance of the conversation led to an all-around well-received broadcast.
