Guardian Change of Address or Absence

PARENT ADDRESS AND/OR PHONE CHANGE

Please notify the Lower School Office immediately of address, phone number, or e-mail changes. It is important for the school to be able to contact you in the event of an emergency. 

PROCEDURES FOR PARENTAL OR GUARDIAN ABSENCE 

If parents are traveling, it is essential that the school be provided with the phone number/address of the individual providing childcare during the parents’ absence. 

If the parents/guardians of a student at the American School of Madrid must leave their child in the care of another individual due to their absence from the home, we request that they send a letter to the Lower School Office.

This letter should be sent at least three days prior to the departure of the parents. In the event of an emergency that requires immediate departure, please call the Lower School Office to inform us of the absence and provide the information listed above. In addition, we request that you follow this phone contact with an e-mail sharing this information in writing.
