Lower School Contact Information

PARENT ADDRESS AND/OR PHONE CHANGE

Please notify the Lower School Office immediately of address, phone number, or e-mail changes. The school needs to be able to contact you in the event of an emergency. 

PROCEDURES FOR PARENTAL OR GUARDIAN ABSENCE 

If parents are traveling, the school must be provided with the phone number/address of the individual providing childcare during the parents’ absence. 

If the parents/guardians of a student at the American School of Madrid must leave their child in the care of another individual due to their absence from the home, we request that they send a letter to the Lower School Office.

• Dates of their absence from the home 

• The name and contact information of the individual who is caring for the student during the absence 

• The contact information for the parents during the absence

This letter should be sent at least three days prior to the departure of the parents. In the event of an emergency that requires immediate departure, please call the Lower School Office to inform us of the absence and provide the information listed above. In addition, we request that you follow this phone contact with an email sharing this information in writing.
