What will learning look like?

Classes take place Monday through Friday from 9 am to 4 pm with a 1 hour lunch break and two 15 minute snack breaks.

Visits to our museum, the Art Institute of Chicago, enhance the learning experience 

Students will have access to amazing arts-based resources provided by faculty

Each course provides an immersive experience that teaches young makers both conceptual and technical skills while allowing them the freedom to explore and innovate.

MAC classrooms will be open to families and friends for an open studio event. Guests will have the opportunity to celebrate the artistic growth of our MAC students, view the work created during the spring session and meet MAC faculty members and teaching assistants.
