Attendance

Teaching Assistants take attendance at the start of each class and report to the Continuing Studies administration team. 

When your student is absent you will receive a call. We will leave a message if you are unable to pick up. 

For planned absences, please notify us ahead of time via email at saic-youth@saic.edu. 

Please note that due to the volume of summer courses, we do not have the flexibility to accommodate last-minute changes to drop-off or pick-up times. We do not accommodate early pickups from 3:30pm to 4pm.

The Emergency number when classes are in session is 312-899-8526. Please note that when classes are not in session, emailing us at saic-youth@saic.edu is the best way to receive a quick response.
