New School Year, New School Information!
If you have not yet checked, your student's HOMEROOM is now listed on their Skyward schedule. All students will begin on Tuesday in their Homeroom class! Please review the schedule in Skyward BEFORE the first day of school as changes may have been made that you were not expecting due to a variety of master scheduling reasons.
Schedule Changes
Counselors are finalizing student schedules, taking into consideration math and world language placements, student completion of course prerequisites, and balancing class sizes. For these reasons, schedules likely have changed since earlier this summer.
Students should access their schedules on Skyward OVER THE WEEKEND in order that they have the most up-to-date, accurate schedule on the first day of school. Paper schedules will not be distributed.
SCHEDULE CHANGES are limited, as the Master Schedule was developed in the Spring based on the courses students chose in February. If your child needs a last-minute schedule change, please note the following schedule:
NO SCHEDULE CHANGE APPOINTMENTS ON THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL.
Drop/Add appointments will be from September 4 through September 10.
Students may drop classes or add into an open period. We are not able to rearrange the order of the classes.
Requests to switch teachers or to switch lunch hours will not be honored.
Students must bring a completed Schedule Change Request form with them.
Appointments must be during a Study Hall or Lunch. Students are required to be in the Homerooms for Resource during the first two weeks of school.
From September 11-16, there are limited circumstances where students may still change their schedule. Those would include:
Dropping a class and adding a study hall if the drop would result in the student still be full-time (full-time = 7 classes each semester)
Dropping an AP class and picking up another class in its place
Switching from a "regular" class to Accelerated or AP of the same class (for example: Chemistry to Accelerated Chemistry)
Switching from an Accelerated or AP class to "regular" of the same class (for example: AP US History to US History)

Any student riding the bus home from school will need to board the bus at the North end of the South Campus building, the buses will no longer pick students up at North Campus. Buses will still drop students off at North and South Campus in the mornings.
Parents should not use lot C! This location is only used for buses and staff to ensure the safest space for our students.
At approximately 2:45 each day, traffic will be stopped by the exit of Lot C parking turning north, Arrowhead Drive intersection heading north, and the north exit onto K in order to allow our buses to depart (locations marked below in red).
