How does finding a pattern rule help you solve big problems?
When you notice a pattern growing or shrinking, does it feel more like a heartbeat, a staircase, or a song?
When you use a T-table to track how something grows, what picture do you see forming — is it like planting seeds and watching them sprout, or like stacking blocks higher and higher? How do multiplication sequences change the kind of “growth story” you’re telling?
Two different T-tables both start at 2. One goes up by 3, the other multiplies by 3. Describe how are they the same and how are they different?
You have a pattern where each term is double the one before. If the 3rd term is 8, what’s the 1st? 2nd? 4th? What’s the rule?
