Student
The most common hold a student may encounter on their account is the Full Registration hold. Full Registration holds block students from completing registration until the hold is resolved. Common reasons for a Full Registration hold include:
Past due balances on a student’s account
Incomplete health/vaccination requirements
Outstanding action items a student must complete before registration begins
Workday provides two methods to view Holds.
Option 1: Academics Hub
From the Workday homepage, click the Menu icon in the upper left hand corner. Then under the Student section select Academics.
Locate the My Holds section. Workday displays any active holds, including a Hold Reason, Hold Description, Resolution Instructions, and Hold Type.
Follow the Resolution Instructions to resolve a hold and proceed to the blocked process.
Option 2: Student Profile
From the Workday homepage, select the Profile icon at the top right of the screen.
Select View Profile.
From the blue navigation panel, select Action Items and Holds.
Select the Active Holds tab at the top of the screen.
Select the title of each active hold to view the hold details.
To view holds which have been resolved on your account, select the Resolved Holds tab at the top of the screen.
Scroll through the list of resolved holds to view hold details.
