Guide to Registering for a Graduate Course(s) in Workday
Step 1
On www.adams.edu, at the top of the website click on "Students".
Step 2
Click on "STUDENT ACCOUNT".
Step 3
Click on "User Login" to log into your Workday Student Account using your @adams.edu Gmail account and password set up previously.
Step 4
Once logged into your Workday Student Account, click on "Academics" on the right under Your Top Appts or Menu on the top left then "Academics".
Step 5
On the right side, click on "Find Course Sections".
Step 6
In "Start Date within", type in "Fall 2025". Then, select "Fall Semester 2025 (08/18/2025-12/12/2025)".
Leave "Campus Locations" empty.
Click the button for "OK".
Step 7
You can then search for the course prefix and number (i.e. COUN 534) in the search bar at the top of the page per course.
Step 8
You can also use the filters on the left side of the screen to only select the course subject.
You can click on "+More" to see more course subjects.
Step 9
You can also use the filter on the left for "Section Status" to select "Open" for only open courses available to register for with open enrollments/seats.
"Closed" are courses that are full with enrollments/seats at that time.
Step 10
For this guide, I am selecting Counseling courses that are open using the filters on the left.
On any of the courses, you can select the down arrow to the right to expand more on the course at a quick glance such as Instructors, Delivery Mode, etc.
Step 11
Click on the blue hyperlink for the course you would like to register for.
For this guide, I want to register for "KIN 550-2 - Applied Sports Psychology".
Step 12
Click on "Register".
Step 13
You can then see all sections of the course you are registering for to select your section if there is more than one available. Click on "Register".
Step 14
You can verify your enrollment in courses registered for by going back to your "Academic" section.
On the right side, click on "View My Courses".
Step 15
Under "Fall Semester 2025", you will see the courses you have successfully registered for.
This guide is only an example and is from Fall Semester 2024.
