Important details are bolded for ease of readability - Maria
We set out early afternoon
And got to Ellensburg quite fast.
Got to the DNR gate very soon,
Didn't forget the keys to get us past
The road was mostly clear, however,
There was still snow left wherever
There was some shade from ponderosa pines-
There's three main patches, I counted several times.
It's worth a mention we got stuck
In mud, but we were almost there.
The more we tried, the worse it got because that's just our luck.
To our great fortune, we were a mile away, and didn't particularly care.
Went through the last of gates as it got dark,
We left the car below on park.
We called one of our many neighbors
To ask him for a towing favour.
Things weren't too bad at MRO,
Dead wasps were laying on the floor,
(My standards hit another low)
The moment we walked through the door.
We cleaned the mess up fairly quick,
Although the wasps did make me sick
And I had nightmares all night long,
There wasn't much else that was wrong.
There's deli meat, cheese, 4 eggs, butter
Inside the fridge as of today,
I'm deeply sorry for the clutter
Of my communication; there is no other way.
There's a thing of drinking water and 1.5 blue jugs
Left, and we cleaned away most of the bugs.
The kitchen may need cleaning
To make it more appealing.
61 out and 16 inches inside of the water;
The catchment system is a fountain,
(I'm glad UW will be my alma mater)
Because of snow we won't be going up the mountain
For several more weeks at least.
Wasp traps are out, and Teagan is a beast
For catching all the live ones in the house
To stop me trembling like a mouse.
I'm working on a telescope electrical box map,
And Oliver has projects planned for Spring.
That should be (approximately) a wrap,
Believe I've listed everything.
