Preparation for winter at MRO - 10/22/15

While at MRO, we filled the inside tank and checked the level of the Mt. Wallerstein tank, it has 6100 gallons (measured via lowering metal bar with rope into tank, measuring the wet length, and determining the volume by the table in the pump room). The plumbing in the building has been drained and the thermostats are all set to low. The observatory is prepared for winter.

We removed Spyder and the filter wheel, which were left at MRO. The back plate with the focal reducing optics was carefully removed, covered with Kimwipes, and returned to MRO. The telescope is covered with the parachute and the back end was covered with kimwipes.

We delivered a truck load of solar panels and miscellaneous equipment. The new router could not be set up, the internet was down, and we could not log into the old router.
