Hero Museum Project - Due September 30
Each person is responsible for an exhibit that includes (at a minimum) the following:
•US Citizen Name
•Act of Heroism
•Description of Event
•Identify Heroic Traits
•Visual Components
This needs to be a contemporary hero.

Read “A Wrinkle in Time” by Madeleine L’Engle. Pages 9-10
Complete Activity 1.3.
Homework: Think about the opening of the selection. Rewrite the third person point of view with a first person point of view.
Enrichment: Add imagery to strengthen the description of the setting. Add details to communicate the character’s perspective.
IEP/504 Modification: Explain the difference between first person and third person points of view. What would be the strengths and weaknesses of each point of view?

How do visual techniques in film transform the story? What visual techniques have you noticed when watching a movie?
Visual Techniques in Film
Each pod should create a Google Presentation that has visual examples of the terms listed on pages 11 or 12.
Create a Google presentation and share with your pod mates. You may then work on it simultaneously, and share your final product with me.
Enrichment:: Give contemporary examples of the topics, and that technique improves the film.
IEP/504 Modification: With your teacher’s assistance and approval select the topics from the list to complete. If you are working with a group, please contribute to that group.
