Find a partner. Go over the thesis statements. Give feedback specific to the checklist, and be sure the theme meets the requirements as well. You will then share with your pod and select what you believe is the best thesis statement to share with the class. Write the thesis statement on the slip of paper I have provided along with your pod number. Please hang it up with one of the magnets on the white board. You will have approximately five minutes to complete these tasks.
We will discuss each thesis statement. Be prepared to explain why the thesis statement meets the checklist, and if it is a viable theme.
