Each group will be assigned a text, and a summarizing strategy. Look at the links to help you with using the summarizing strategy BEFORE you start reading the text. (You may want to diffuse the text.) Once you complete the activity, write a summary of the text. Identify the main idea.
You will present your strategy to the rest of the class. Be ready to present the following:
