What should you have?
What's required:
A home made puppet
A poem that contains
At least eight lines (It can have more.)
Two poetic devices (It can have more.)
An identifiable theme
Grading
Poem completed on time: 20 points
Puppet: 20 points
Performance: 20 points
Poetic Device 1: 10 points
Poetic Device 2: 10 points
Theme: 10 points
8 or more lines: 10 points
Rules:
Each person will use their own hand made puppet(s) to perform an original poem.
If you have no puppet I will have a selection of inferior puppets, but you will not receive the points for having a puppet.
Allow the performance to go uninterrupted.
If you have a question, raise your hand to be recognized AFTER the performance.
Keep notes so you may complete the secondary assignment.
As puppets perform, you are responsible for the following:
Write the title of the poem.
Identify two poetic devices.
Identify the theme.
You will need at least 10. This will count as a classwork grade.
