How can we practice becoming better active listeners?
Take the AchieveWorks Learning and Productivity. This will let you know about your strengths and weaknesses in regards to the way you learn. You will receive 10 points for completing the survey in Naviance. Your instructors will follow up about your learning strategies following the active listening lesson.
In Naviance, select the Self-Discovery tab, then choose the AchieveWorks Learning and Productivity survey.
Read each question. It is a long survey and will ask you versions of the same questions multiple times. Like a police investigator, the survey is trying to see if you are answering consistently so it can give you a more accurate result.
Scroll through your AchieveWorks Learning and Productivity result page. Note how your tendencies for Auditory, Tactile-Kinesthetic, and Visual Learning. Which one seems to be your strongest? ... if they seem fairly even, which one do you think is your strongest?
Take a screenshot of your completed AchieveWorks Learning and Productivity in Naviance. Paste it on the Google Doc in given to you in the Google Classroom assignment post. Don't know how to take a screenshot? Use one of the methods in this screenshot tutorial.
Also, Visit the Learning Strategies page. See if there are some for your strongest and weakest that could help you be a better learner in class. Give one of each under the screenshot on your doc.
