Movie Editor
Make sure you keep your files, documents, pictures, videos are organized and in your Final Project Google Drive folder. This is crucial for Clipchamp (and other sites) to find your files- especially from one day to the next.
Put your pictures on the movie timeline- be sure to add from Google Drive.
Begin to order them how they will appear in the movie.
Start putting text from research and your own thoughts on the pictures.
You have quotes and other information you may lay over the pictures. You may use text to emphasize what the narration is saying (highlight key words said in narration) or the text may be extra information not in your narration.
Graphics
Your movie will likely need more pictures than you currently have, so continue to take/make more pictures!
Stage Still or "Burst" events as examples of good/bad situations that relate to your topic (perhaps situations that your are explicitly discussing in your narration.
Google Drawings/Canva/Adobe Spark can be used to do creative things to pictures you have taken. These sites are also great if you need to create some brand new graphics to add to your project.
Script/ Narration Editor
Look again at the pictures and research in the corresponding folders to see if any new information has been added and add phrases in the bulleted sequence of events that will continue developing the storyline.
Determine what research and thoughts are best done as text on pictures and what is best as narrated content about the pictures and text.
Take the bulleted phrases and turn them into a narrated script.
Music
Talk to the movie editor; you may not need to do anything for this job!
Choose music for the movie. You may use instrumentals for mood or songs with lyrics if appropriate to the topic of your movie. Check out the free tracks offered in Clipchamp- you can simply add in music provided by the website.
You may also borrow music from the folders linked below. Download the selection(s) you want to use, save in your " Google Drive/ IT/ Final Project/ Music folder. Be sure it is long enough in duration to last the entire movie. More than 1 song/ instrumental can be used if you really want to.
You are welcome to use you own music from personal/ home devices but it is your responsibility to figure out how to do this- you would need to obtain the audio file (mp3., wav., etc.- NOT just a YouTube link!) The link below will give you access to a library of various music for free if you don't like options provided on cannot figure out how to get your own.
