Create the Google Document in Google Drive in the Shared Group Final Project/ Research folder. For a name for the document use the last name of everyone in the group and Bibliography . . . for example Smith, Jones, Withers Bibliography.
Be careful to use the right format depending on whether your sources are originally from the school databases of web pages. Choose the correct form in the Citation Machine! MLA Citation Guide
Group members edit and approve the Bibliography.
Upload (Don't turn in or you will not be able to edit) the Bibliography to the Day 8 assignment post for the day in Google Classroom.
Requirements and Format
Information from a minimum of 3 sources need to be used.
Correctly format an MLA bibliography using a Google Drive Document that you create in the group Project/ Research folder. Do not put the sources at the end of the show. Format the bibliography in MLA style-- double spaced with Times New Roman size 12 font, A centered Title, and list of sources with hanging indents in alphabetical order.
The header needs to have the last names of all group members separated by commas and the page number. For Example: Smith, Jones, Kelly, 1
There will not be "Headings." (Teachers, class name, due date etc.)
The title will be Bibliography rather than Works Cited.
What and How to Cite
Pictures that are not public domain are cited in research documents, but we will waive that requirement for this so as not to discourage you from using many visuals. You likely have your own and many public domain shots anyway.
Include all of the sources where you got the content from. Each source has its own source information on the page when you open the source. Web page sources need the URL in the citation.
Include music with lyrics, or instruments related to an original song with music (use information about the artist and recording as if you got it from their album, iTunes, or Amazon . . . Google the information needed as if you bought the CD or from iTunes). Not sure how to cite a song? Check out this website.
Include personal interviews. Personal interviews refer to those interviews that you conduct yourself.
Use this sample bibliography as a template:

All group members receive the same score for this even though one group member turns it in. Therefore, everyone check the final copy before the instructor grades it.
