“Xbox One Review”

My name is Evan, I am 12 years in middle school and today I am reviewing the Xbox One gaming console made by Microsoft. The console itself is a black color and it is an average size. I am into sports and types of video games involved with sports like Madden NBA 2k FIFA and others. All in all the console is very addicting and cool but there are many flaws while playing that are very infuriating.

First to start with the pros, the graphics on the Xbox One are so realistic it is like you are there inside the game you are playing. Next the Xbox One lets you multitask so you could be watching TV while playing a game and at the same time talking to a friend. Next, it is pretty stylish and has a cool sleek design so you can put it anywhere without messing up the look of the room. Lastly, the controller has been modified from the Xbox 360 controller so now it is smooth and feels nice and fits in your hand comfortably.

Even though the pros seem great there is also a lot of cons when speaking out the Xbox. First, the controller is pretty fragile so if it is dropped a few times it will probably break then you would need to go get a new one. Next, you have to pay a fee to continue to have Xbox Live which basically lets you do everything from playing and talking with friends online to even watching TV so even after paying for the console you still have to pay for the Xbox Live that does not work well all the time. For example, my Xbox Live will randomly disconnect so I get pulled out of my online session and have to restart and reload which takes a while. Also, sometimes the Xbox Live can be disconnected for up to a week which is very aggravating and infuriating. Lastly, it is a constant struggle trying to get the Xbox Live to work so you can access Xbox One’s full accessibility.

I had the Xbox One for about 5 to 6 months and I use it 2-4 time a week. I expected it to work more efficiently and have the ability to connect to Xbox Live 100% of the time. I give this console a 3 out of 5 stars because while at it’s full potential the console is very addicting, fun,and exhilarating to play but then again most of the time it is not at it’s full potential and has many issues which can cause aggravation and a lot of stress.
