“Review of the logitech G700s”

I am thirteen years old and I’m reviewing the logitech G700s rechargeable wired/wireless gaming mouse. I have two of these mouses and have been using them for a little more than a year now and I use it almost everyday. Other important details about me is that I prefer comfort over ultra performance.

You may be asking

“What is this mouse?” and I’m going to tell you. The g700s is a modified version of the original g700. The mouse features include 13 programmable buttons, changeable dpi (Dots Per Inch- also known as mouse sensitivity), a scroll wheel with the option of hyper scrolling (scrolling with no clicks) and click scrolling (the scroll wheel clicks every so often when you use it), two main buttons that withstand up to 20 million clicks, and an anti slick surface throughout the mouse. Since you know more about this mouse let me tell you what I think about it.

In all I would rate this mouse 3 out of 5 stars. I rated it this because I think it is a phenomenal mouse, but there are some things that could be better. Before buying the mouse I thought it would work well and I would be able to use it for a while. I really liked the thirteen programmable buttons because it let me program them (using the logitech program) to my liking. I also very much enjoyed the different memories on the mouse. Basically if I have one button configuration good for gaming but another for school, I can just program it into the mouse as different presets. I also felt that the mouse had a great shape and perfect size that my hand was able to rest on comfortably. Now I did mention that this mouse needed some improvement. The mouse is also quite fragile toward abrupt impact. My first one, I dropped on the floor and it never worked again, every time I plugged it into my computer it would not respond. The mouse is not that aesthetically pleasing either. The design of gray lines running across it (I find) is ugly. Finally the mouse, as far as I have seen is right hand only and there are no left handed versions of it.

Now to recap. The mouse is overall good, but there is need of adjustments. For the price of around $70.00 I think it is reasonable unless you succumb it to falls and/or drops. The mouse’s pros overcome its cons. The pros feel very essential for a great mouse while the cons were more like minor details. Although the mouse was quite fragile towards falls, its durability towards long-term abrasion and clicks on the mouse are extraordinary. In all I think this mouse is worth buying.
