*Invicta Women's Changeable Strap Watch

“Changeable Strap Wristwatch”

I’ve been in this world for thirteen years, and I have never had a wristwatch. At least, not until around a month and a half ago when my aunt got me the Invicta Women's 12544 Angel Analog type Swiss-quartz Pink Watch for Christmas. It works great, though I’ll admit I’m slow at reading it because I’m accustomed to seeing digital time and I’m not great with Roman Numerals. But even though I’m not extremely girly, this beautiful watch was definitely a great gift, and I love it.

The straps are interchangeable, which is great for people who are concerned over whether or not everything on them matches. It comes with white, pink, black, and red, all of which are shiny and sleek. They’re also very strong. I’ve been wearing it all day every day since I got it, and it’s held up through that many middle school physical education classes. I’ve mostly been wearing the pink one, and it’s not even scratched!

The downside to the straps, though, is that when you want to change them you have to really get your fingernails in there because the switches are tiny and a bit difficult to push, but my assumption about this is that they don’t want the switches to be digging into your arm or accidentally coming undone. Still, they’re tricky.

Another great thing about the watch is that it’s really easy to work. You may think I would mean easy for an expert, but remember, I’m thirteen, this is my first watch, and I am a person who took about seven years to realize that a snooze button doesn’t actually turn off an alarm, so I’m not exactly tech-savvy. To set the time, you just pull out the little knob on the side (this one’s also small, but I conjecture it’s so it won’t stab at your wrist when you flex your hand back). Then you turn the knob back or forward to the time and push it back in. If I could figure it out in five minutes without the instruction booklet, I’m sure you could get it too.

I’m not sure how much this watch costs since I got it as a Christmas gift from my aunt, but I would be willing to pay more than $200 or it. What (other than the tiny buttons) could anyone not like about it? It’s shiny and pretty, the straps all look nice, it comes in a little box that’s great to keep the straps in when they’re not in use. The face looks great, with each little detail on it having a slight pink tint to it. It’s just awesome.

I would rate this product a four out of five stars, an imperfect score only because of the tiny switches and knob. They are difficult to maneuver, and it may be a little tricky for any other rookies like me to do the strap with one hand since it’s on the other wrist, but you’ll get the hang of both after a while. Other than the tricky switches, this product is amazing, elegant enough for any nice occasion yet tough enough to withstand middle school fitness activities. I love the Invicta Women's 12544 Angel Analog type Swiss-quartz Pink Watch, and I’m sure you will too.
