Friday, April 8:

Math: Your positive comments to each other were amazing! Thank you for building each other up to what should be a fun and exciting day on Monday. Believe in yourself, because I believe in you!

Science: We will continue the unit on organisms on Monday.

Thursday, April 7:

Math: You are ready for the Benchmark on Monday! Make sure to study your reviews and think positive thoughts!

Science: Many of you did an amazing job on the Organisms Unit Test! I am so proud of your efforts!

Wednesday, April 6:

Math: Fixed expenses are expenses that stay the same from week to week or month to month (house payment, rent, car payment, insurance, etc.). Variable expenses are expenses that are not fixed but change from week to week or month to month (entertainment, water bill, electricity bill, etc.).

Science: You are ready for the unit test on organisms! Make sure to study inherited traits/behaviors, learned behaviors, and plant and animal adaptations.

Tuesday, April 5:

Math: We saw how stem and leaf plots can also display data with fractions or decimals. Please make sure to look at the key before solving the problems.

Science: Your life cycle of a plant diagrams contained lots of great information. Remember that it is a cycle.

Monday, April 4:

Math: The data analysis stations were a great practice to the independent practices you will take on this topic. You worked well together, and your dot plots, frequency tables, and stem and leaf plots were excellent!

Science: The pollen from the daffodils made me sneeze, but it was great hands-on lesson to see the parts of the plant!
