SWAT_BootCamp

Again this summer we will be offering students the opportunity to become a SWAT Team Member by learning about computer maintenance, software, and Google Apps.

We encourage each student who is interested to fill out an application online (with parent’s permission). See Below.

Parents will need to send an additional Release Form (Click Here for Handout First Session) to allow their child to publish a Website to the World Wide Web.

Student will gain a certificate of participation and a SWAT Team Badge.

Boot Camp Schedule

Day 1: June 15th

A: Learn how to keep a computer virus, malware, and Trojan free.

B: Learn Internet Safety and Global Citizenship Guidelines

C.: Creating PowToon Video to display the content they are learning in Boot Camp.

Day 2: June 16th

A: Learn how to work in Google Apps (drive, doc, sheets, slides, forms, calendar)

B: Begin Website for SWAT Team

Day 3: June 17th

A: Learn how to place animated slides & pictures into Website

B: Learn how to place the calendar into the Web site and update it.

C: Learn How to embed Forms into Website

Day 4: June 18th

A: Learn how to add pages to Website

B: Learn how to add Navigation to Website

C: Learn how to add video to Website

D: Learn how to manage Website.

F: Answer questions about wireless implementation and BYOT
