What is Google Keep?

Google Keep is a web-based application that allows you to create and share notes, lists, and reminders. You can also add images, voice notes, drawings and more! Each note resembles an online sticky note that can be customized and shared. This robust tool can be used by teachers and students to manage projects, set goals, communicate and collaborate.

I love to think of all of the possibilities that Google Keep creates for the classroom. Google Keep is now officially a part of G Suite for Education and integrates sweetly with Google Docs. I have even started a Google Keep Pinterest Board to curate all of the awesome resources.

Resources: Every month we expect Google to update the tools available to us Google Apps users, improving the product and adding exciting new features. Although we anticipate a lot of updates, even we couldn’t foresee what happened this October.

a. Newsletter: 6 Updates You Might Have Missed Because You Spent Too Much Time Picking Out A Halloween Costume

Google introduced a bunch of new features like they normally do, but they also made the biggest change to email since Gmail was introduced over 10 years ago. Even if we ignore the announcement of Inbox, Google still released enough to keep us busy for all of October! I’m personally very excited about the continued improvements to Google Forms, along with all the other great changes to Google Drive.

b. Best Practices for Using Google Classroom

c. Streamline the writing (and grading) process with Google Drive

d. Enabling Teachers & Setting Up Your Domain For Success
