Digital Communication Avenues -- QuickStarts

(1) Administrator/ Campus Website (Example: Elementary Administration & Principal Site)

(2) Email Groups - The Tech Dept will be glad to create email groups for you to better communicate with segments of your campus.

Examples:

  • HS_Campus@arpisd.org will allow you to email everyone on your campus.

  • HS_Teachers@arpisd.org will allow you to email instructional information to educators.

  • Users_17@arpisd.org will allow you to email all students graduating in 2017. We have user groups for each graduation year.

  • If you require groups by grade level or department, please let us know and we will create your email groups for you.

(3) Facilities Policies: Facilities@arpisd.org will receive facilities requests from inside and outside the district. It is up to the principal to open the request and to approve requests for your campus facilities.

(4) Announcements@arpisd.org will send a request for a public announcement on multiple media (Check out the choices here: KIOSKS, Electronic Signs, Twitter, SchoolWay, Calendar events, etc.

(5) Campus / District Calendars & Announcements: These are embeded into your Website and allow you to add events which will be published to all stakeholders

(6) SchoolWay & Twitter: Quick Start for Mobile App and Website for communicating to Arp Community

(7) Google Apps:Quick Start for Google Drive, Email, Docs, Websites, Forms/Surveys, Slides, Classroom, etc. You are able to share internal documents using Google Drive with a select group of folks. We will help you create "share" folders to place your important communications in so that you do not need to email out attachments which people lose or delete.

Once you have shared a document in a shared folder, anyone you shared it with can do a simple search and find that piece of information again. You will need to first create a public share folder for any pictures or information you are going to publish on your Website.

(8) TheCUBE: Everyone can have their own channel for broadcasting videos or audio. Arp ISD's channel is TigerVision

(9) TigerTube: Everyone can have their own Blog (including students) on TigerTube.

(10) The Maroon Messenger: https://sites.google.com/a/arpisd.org/the_maroon_messenger/?pli=1
