Copying_2_MyDrive

Files that are shared with you can be copied to your drive so that you can change them, edit them or use them as an answer sheet.

1. First, Open the shared document, spreadsheet, powerpoint, etc. that has been shared with you. You can find it quickly by clicking on the left menu item "Shared with me" and then opening the file.

2. Click on File in the top menu and then "Make a Copy"

3. RENAME the COPY appropriately AND SELECT the New FOLDER for it to go into your drive. You may wish to press the back arrow to locate a new folder.

NOW you own this document and you may edit it in any way you like. You can ALSO reshare this document once you have added your changes.
