Unit_3 Creating Online Learning with Google Sites

Here are a few short Videos that will walk you through creating your own content Website. Start Here:

RESEARCH & REMEMBER:

(1) Keep your Page Names Short with no spaces even when the tutorial video says otherwise!

(2) Uniquely Name your Website (example: Math_Smith)

  • You will add Web Pages to your Website. Think about how you might organize your pages. Here are some requirements:

    • Each page must have a descriptive title (ie. Instructor Page - with picture and email address, conference hours, SchoolWay Account, Twitter, etc.

MINIMUM TEMPLATE FOR WEBSITE

  • Each page must identify the Person(s) responsible for the page by adding an email link.

    1. The author of any page is ultimately responsible for its content, for updating it, and for tweaking the lessons and assignments when you realize students are becoming confused. Never think your first effort is "good enough". You will continue to make changes to your pages until all types of learners understand the content.

    2. You must adhere to copyright laws

    3. You must adhere to Arp Publishing/ Posting Policies

    4. The content of your pages becomes your intellectual property and you may keep the Site even if you leave Arp ISD.

IF at any point in this Unit you need help, please email me and I will chat with you until you can get back up to speed.
