Day 1

«Kalos irthate stin Ellada» que vol dir en català «Benvinguts a Grècia». 

Avui hem volat des de Barcelona a Atenes, i des d’aquesta ciutat a Iràklio, la ciutat i la capital de Creta, l’illa més gran del país hel·lènic. Des d’allà ens desplacem a la ciutat de Réthymno. Situada al centre, és la tercera ciutat més gran de l’illa, i és famosa per la seva arquitectura medieval i els seus vestigis venecians i turcs. A més, compta amb una bonica platja, i un port que esdevé l’àrea més animada de la ciutat, gràcies al desenvolupament turístic que ha viscut Réthymno en els darrers anys.

"Kalos irthate stin Ellada" which means in English "Welcome to Greece".

Today we flew from Barcelona to Athens, and from that city to Heraklion, the capital city of Crete, the largest island of the Hellenic country. From there we travelled to the city of Réthymno, located in the center, it's the third largest city on the island, and is famous for its medieval architecture and its Venetian and Turkish remains. In addition, it has a beautiful beach, and a port that has become the liveliest area of the city, thanks to the touristic development that Rethymno has experienced in recent years.
