This video was about the elective class AP Capstone Seminar. The video talked about what the class is and why students should enroll in the course. I like this video because of the interviews and the b-roll used.
In this video I had to go outside of school and find a small business to interview and make a business profile of. The thing I liked most when making this video was asking the employees questions for the interview and getting to know more about their establishment. I like this video because of how well it turned out overall I like how the editing and voiceovers turned out.
For this video I interviewed one of the students in my class about how the midterm is going. the thing I liked when filming this video was finding what b-roll would fit best with what the subject was saying. I like this video because of the b-roll placement I thought it turned out well.
In this video I had to get a variety of wide, angle, low, linking, depth, and opposite shots in a sequence that tells a story. the thing I liked most when making this video was editing it in post because I got to make the adjustments to make the transitions between shots and getting to color grade it at the end. I like the video because I like how the color grading turned out and the transitions between the every shot.
For this video I had to come up with a story that was only six words. The Thing I liked most when making this video was getting to come up with the story and direct a story. I like this video because of how the editing and how it doesn't feel like any part of the video was too long or too short.
In this video I had to interview someone about their daily routine. The thing I liked most about maing this video was getting to film the interview. I like the video because of how the b-roll goes with the topic of what the subject is saying in the interview.
I have learned a lot in video & broadcast which include things like correct interview framing, filming b-roll, what to do when interviewing someone, how to edit videos and much more. My favorite parts of this class were things like watching the final product of each project we made and getting to film videos during class. I believe that if any student at this school has any kind of interest in making videos then I would advise them to take this course because it teaches a lot of important things about filming in general.
