The way that the Rolo wrappers red, brown, and gold pops off of the turf makes it one of my favorite pictures that I have taken. The white of the turf and the selective focus really make this photo.
I love this picture with how the leafs surround the pumpkin which is in selective focus. The brightness of the pumpkin really stands out with the darker oranges and reds of the leaves.
This picture of Carter Law illustrates his bright and happy personality. With him being in selective focus it really demonstrates his brightness and charm.
I liked how Jacob is the main focus of the shot while the background is the brightly colored trees and sky. While not being the main focus of the shot.
I love the way that the shoe holds the yellow and green while still having that vintage look. The way that the shoe looks so worn but also seems like that they could still be somewhat new.
The darkness of the clouds really makes the bright green grass and leaves pop. Especially with how bright the sun shines through the sun.
I really enjoy this photo because I was able to get all of the contents of the pumpkin into one shot. As well as the dark shadows really makes the orange of the pumpkin pop.
I used strong subject in this picture so that I could have a full focus on each animal. I used the manual settings by changing my aperture so that I could get this photo in this lighting. I brightened the image during editing so that you were able to see the animals. This is my favorite photo because of the lighting and shadows that it created.
I learned that Nick hates cold weather and would rather be warm then cold. For this shot I used selective focus so that Nick came out more defined and the background was a bit blurrier.
This photo is my favorite because of the way the spoon is angled and the end of the fork pokes out on the other side.
I chose this picture because of the way the color of the bike pops. It is so vibrant and stands out on top of the pavement.
This is my favorite design because it looks like Jacob is going into another world. With all of the different swirls of colors it looks like he's is some other dimension.
I learned that these can be difficult to do but worth it in the end. Because the way that they turn out makes the first images elevated.
When I think of gratitude I think about the people that I keep closest to me like certain friends of mine and family. This image demonstrates gratitude as a former ghostly king who was once a beloved king by all. Handing down his crown to his second in line after he has passed on which Sean, the new king is grateful for because Jacob didn’t have to have Sean as his second in line. I had Sean sit in the chair to act like a throne while Jacob in a ghostly effect was acting like he was crowning him. I had Jacob stand behind Sean in the crowning pose then move around a little bit before exiting the frame so that it would appear as if he was a ghost. For the crown I traced a crown in illustrator and then painted the inside to make it look like a real crown.
I used sub framing by having Jordan hold up the tennis racket to his face. That way he had the circle as the frame.
Each image that I took I wanted to use the mirrors that we borrowed from the class. My first few were also accidental but turned out as some of my best photos of this shoot. For this shoot it is important to use everything that involves having any type of reflection, especially windows because they are everywhere. I would like to do this again and hopefully have access to bigger mirrors because that would make the pictures even better.
I really like this picture for its simplicity and subtleness. But also because of how the bottom lights are darker the the lights at the top for a little bit of contrast.
I like this photo because of the colors and how they correspond with the tree. I also like how the main point is clearly on the tree.
This was a really fun project because not only did we get to take pictures. But we also got to create a design and carve a pumpkin.
I liked this project because we were able to demonstrate a short story with pictures which was on of my favorite things to do in class.
Over the course of this semester I really grew to enjoy and look forward to every day. Being able to go out and take pictures just about every day was always a great way to end the day. I am happy with the things that I accomplished in this class and I have been thinking about getting a camera since starting it. I will remember this class for always being fun and feeling great about the pictures and projects that I did in it.
