This photo was from our first time editing with Lightroom, I liked how this photo came out. After using the preset on this picture it's even better as if it was a shot in a movie.
This photo came from the selective focus shoot, It brings out the winter feeling for me too. As we get into the peak of Fall this photo is almost a window into the future for me as I wait for Winter.
I learned a lot during this process, Patience was a huge factor and it helped me persevere while making this. This design was my favorite just because I love the background photo, I feel like it adds to the drawing a ton.
This photo from the SubFraming shoot was my first to appear on the MediaLab Instagram. It was a highlight of the quarter for me.
For one week of our weekly practice assignment, we had the opportunity to capture fall. This weekly practice is definitely my all-time favorite for the first quarter. The pictures I think turned out great.
This was probably my favorite picture I have taken through the first half of the semester. The detail when capturing this in the selective focus collection was awesome.
This picture was from the portraits assignment. I like how everything turned out, especially the clarity and focus.
This photo came from the one-light shoot, I love how this one turned out. The lighting was perfect the focus came out great and the photo was exactly what I wanted.
This photo was another photo from my first edits using Lightroom. I think this picture came out great and to me it feels like it would be in a movie.
This photo was a part of the reflections shoot, It was one of my last pictures taken and when I saw it for the first time I knew it was my favorite. I love everything about this picture, the color, the focus the clarity, everything.
This slideshow was processed pictures of my gratitude project. these pictures highlight my final image as well as beginning images and added photos.
This picture was a part of one of the first padlet assignments we did, The Ghost Project. I liked this picture because it captures the goal of creating a ghost while adding a mystery of the runner.
This picture was one of our first pictures that told a story. I used Rule of thirds in this photo to allow the viewer to take in the background of the picture. When taking the picture My shutter speed was on the slower side while my aperture was higher up to allow the light and focus of the picture to be how I like it.
This picture was one of the first edits made in photoshop, the premise being to go wherever you wanted to go. I chose a baseball diamond because I love baseball and everything about the sport.
This photo came from our silverware shoot where we practiced our camera skills. I like this photo because of the sun's reflection. The clear spoon allows the sun to give the perception of 2 spoons in the image.
This photo came from our angle shoot where we practiced worm eye and bird's eye Point of View. I enjoyed the feeling of fall this picture had. I like how it used the rule of thirds while also the necessary worm's eye view.
I chose this picture because it looked really cool with the leaves blurred close but still solid figures while having the focused leaves in the back. I think the design elements of repetition and texture are the most important because these bring the viewer into the shot.
This Photo demonstrates Leading lines the most. The yellow curb brings the viewer's eyes straight to Jacob.
This photo came from out first-ever shoot, We used out phones and walked around the school. I was lucky enough to notice a pipe sticking from the wall and I stuck my camera in and captured this hornet's nest.
This picture is one I took of the guys I worked with every day, I like this one because it commemorates us and our work this semester. I enjoyed this class and these guys were a big reason why.
Throughout this semester, even from day one, I was learning more about photography than I had known. This class didn't just help me take better pictures I notice different things in my surroundings now, even when looking at other photos and movies I notice the way the photos are framed and the deeper thought into each shot. I have to admit though, my favorite moments in the class were before the weather got cold, the shoot time, when we could go outside and enjoy the nice weather and fresh air, destressing from the school day we have had. Although some of my pictures are not the best I enjoyed every moment taking pictures and learning in this class.
