Since digital photography is ending I would like to share all of my creations I've made since 2023 September to the end of it. I want to start by saying that all of my photos mean something and it describe who I am and how I edit my photos to express emotions and color.
This is my top favorite out of all the photos I have taken. This shot was taken by using selective focus. I wanted a story to go with this photo showing that all races aren't just for hate and that it doesn't matter whether a person is darker than another because we are all family in this world.
This is one of my top favorite photos I have taken. This was taken on a school phone and I did selective focus on these flowers without knowing it.
This image is one of my favorites because of the tone that is in this photo. I used selective focus to capture right on time when the sun was out. I found it creative to make the photo darker for others to see how well the sun hits the carved-in message on the wooden bench.
All four of these photos are also one of my favorites I love. To capture these photos I did the one light challenge and selective focus for the 1st one out of all 4 of them. I made this look more as if she was admiring herself.
This photo is one of my favorites because of the fearless look Judah Lulevitch has on her face which brings the photo in a lot. This could have so many meanings to it but I love the lighting of the photo and how detailed it is. The sun hit well on both of these girls and brightened up the photo a lot.
The first image of reflection is one of my favorites while the other two are not. To capture these images I did reflection and selective focus for the 1st photo. These pictures were fun to make and how light/dark they all are makes the images pop out more.
This image is one of my favorites in the collection because of the lighting and how close-up it is. I used a headshot and selective focus with this shot. I also got a close-up of Haley Cline for more detail to the face and even facial expression. In this photo Haley is looking up to something she sees, the tone and slanted smile she has defines whether she likes what she sees or not.
In this image, the group of girls are building trying to figure out what they should build and what order of the color blocks should go first. This photo is one of my favorites. I did a medium shot with this to get more of a body view but also a close-up of what they were doing.
This is not my best photo but I love how vibrant the colors are in the photo. I did a rainbow color basically to give the photo a very bright view.
This photo meaning is about school and how stressful and overpowering it is. Caroline Vail's facial expression gives off a moody and bothered look due to how school is going so far but not every day. The problem to how bad school can get depending on how well you're doing in your classes. I did a medium shot using a selective focus to also get more of a detailed look at her mood.
These two images are one of my best. I did a headshot and selective focus for both images. To edit these photos I used a bit of shade and light to make them more natural and give some more of a light to cause the eye to shine. In Caroline Vail's picture, the sunlight did the job of making her eye the main subject in the photo. For Haley Clines, I brightened up the photo and her eyes naturally were bright but dark.
With this being one of my favorite photos I did this with a very fast shutter speed. It created a ghost image for finals and this could be put in a story. I used a darker shade of black and white so the two girls could be seen a bit better.
This image is not my best but I still like it. I did selective focus to get more of an expression of Caroline Vail and how focused she is carving the pumpkin. I used a winter filter and brightened up the photo a bit.
This photo is one of my favorites. For this photo, I did a close-up and selective focus. The assignment was a toy theme and I wanted to take things to reality. I used two toy vehicles and made them crash then for the background I used some plastic candles and gave a fire detail. The photo came out better than I thought it was and honestly was my best for the toy theme. I went for a dark shade to create more of a nighttime theme just so the lights of the candles can blend in.
This is one of my favorites. I did leading lines and accidentally captured Aliana Brown and Caroline Vail without even knowing they were doing leading lines too. I thought this image was funny but yet very cool how this became more of just 1 leading line photo knowing that there were 2 more unexpectedly.
This is my least favorite photo but I still like how vibrant the blue is on the locker. I did selective color and closeup shots to get more of a detailed look. I also brightened up the image so the shine of the lock is very noticeable.
This is my least favorite photo but I still like how the background is very bright and how green the trees look. Quinn's facial expression shows how happy he is with the weather and how it is to breathe in fresh air. For this image, I did sub-framing and selective focus to capture the facial expression that Quinn is making.
This is my least favorite photo but I still like how close the subject is including the wall showing details and going down to the end of the hall it's blurry. For this photo, I did selective focus on my subject who is alone at a school and has nowhere to go for its backstory, I used a light black and white filter so the image wouldn't be too dark or too light.
This is my least favorite photo but I still like how close the subject is including the grass for the background. I also love how detailed the water droplets are from the top and how blurry they get on the way down the fork. I used selective focus and extreme close-ups for details. For editing, I used a very light black-and-white filter and put the explorer a bit high to make it lighter and also for some grass color.
This is my least favorite photo but I still like how my subject is close sitting comfortably looking up at something she doesn't recognize. I didn't pick up any facial expressions but I'm guessing she's slightly smiling as if it's an evil meaning behind the smile. She sits as if she is a queen and that whoever messes up gets what they deserve. I used selective focus to capture this photo. I made the image a little bit lighter than the original to kind of capture the face.
This is my least favorite photo but I still like how tall and steep the plants look plus how dark they are. The sky gives the plants more of a shade so I didn't capture any full light. I also like how the color is very noticeable at the top of the plants and gets darker going down at the ends of the plants. I used selective focus on the plants that were in front while the plants in the back were blurred out of sight. To edit I made the image a bit more lighter.
This is my least favorite photo but I like how tall and high up the position is and also how the lights reflect off the ground. I noticed that down the Green Mile hall on the top of the lockers, it's a pattern. I used the bird eye view kind of without knowing that I have. To edit this photo I just made the image a bit dark.
In digital Photography one I had much experience with taking photos from different angles in just things that we've seen all of our lives and knowing the meaning of taking photos and how we edit and how we can create different things using one app, My creation while editing photos grew and grew by the times of taking this elective. In the beginning we used mobile phones to start off and so we can get comfortable with it and I felt good about it and just taking photos then air dropping it to the computers and basically editing them to something different and creative, my thoughts with taking photos are Beyond creative and I love that I can share my creation by taking photos and editing how I want. After using the phones we were presented the cameras and basically talked about the difference of the settings on the camera and how powerful they are by how much the cameras cost. I found it really interesting that we got to do different photos like the ghost photo and selective colors. My thoughts will take you pictures are very bright and sometimes just the angles I would submit my pictures and I would edit it in like a theme like such as for the toy photos my topic was a crashed car so I lowered my lighting to more of a dark tone to kind of make it blend out, the creation and finished look came out just how I thought and I was pretty happy about it. Digital photography has been a really cool adventurous Journey to just Express colors and how we take pictures and basically explaining it to everyone how we thought and what made us think this and the reason why we chose to pick this type of tone in the photo we've taken and basically expressing ourselves by using photos and editing and I really enjoyed doing that because It helps me Focus and gets me going in the beginning of the day and I enjoy expressing myself to just editing in taking photos and basically explaining why I've chose to edit how I want and also the tone that are in my photos.
