This portfolio represents my work in Digital Photography 1 from fall of my sophomore year. In this class, we learned how to take good pictures. Enjoy exploring my work.

Storm Trooper

I took this shot during our toy photo shoot.I really like how this one turned out. It looks like a model and the image is really clean.

Snow Storm

This shot is part of the absract photo shoot. I like this shot because you cant really tell what it is just by looking at it so you have to think about what it looks like to you. I think it looks like a snow storm on top of a mountain.

One Light

I took this photo during the one light challenge where we had to use one light and try to make a cool picture. I like how this one has really good detail.

Triptych

The triptych project was fun. You had to take three differnt photos that line up and tell a story.

Winter photo

During this shoot was the first time we used lightroom to edit photos. I like this photo I think its calm.

Mirror

I took this photo during our reflection photo shoot. My friend Jared posed really good for the camera.

Worms view

This is one of my favorite pictures from the birds and worms eye view. I think it shows a creepy hallway.

Ghost photos

During the ghost photo shoot we learned a cool technique where if you slow the shutter speed and have the subject move out of the frame you can create a cool ghost.

Frozen

I took this picture during our frozen and blur photoshoot. I think this was my best frozen picture.

Dinosaur

I took this one during the toy photoshoot. I like this shot, it looks like a scene from Jurassic Park.

Bass and Phil

I made this picture when we first learned how to use photoshop. I think this is a cool picture.

Lamppost

This is my favorite photo I took. It looks so crisp and clean and I like it.

Spoon

I like this one because it it funny. It looks odd that the spoon is just sticking straight out of the wall.

Pencil Flower

I made this when we did the objects aranged neatly project. I just tried to make and cool picture with pencils.

Punching Picture

I made this using the rgb color blends. It is a funny picture of me punching myself.

Angry

I also used the rgb color blends to make this. I feel like the pictures tell a story.

Purple Camera

I took this during the reflections project. I like how there is a lot of detail in it.

Army men

This was one of our first projects. It was the rule of thirds.

3 Dudes

This was only supposed to be a picture of Luke who is on the left but then Enzio and Jared walked into the picture and it turned out really good.

Pumpkin carving

I took this photo when we were carving pumpkins for Halloween. I think this is a funny picture.

I have learned a lot about Photography after taking this class. I have also learned to look at things more closely and I notice smaller things. My favorite parts of this class was taking a good picture. It is nice when you do that. The most challenging part was probably coming up with new ideas but I did figure it out eventually.
