Thank you to the parents and carers who stopped and provided some feedback on what you think we do to support your child's wellbeing and mental health. Hopefully you found the range of leaflets we have to signpost guidance and support for you helpful.
As always, if you have any concerns or questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Process for parents and carers if you have concerns about your child's mental health or well-being.
At times, we can become concerned about our child's health and wellbeing, and it can sometimes be difficult to know where to go for support and guidance. Don't forget that we have a section on our school website that can signpost you to help and guidance for both your children and for yourself.
But if you would like to bring anything to our attention, then the flowchart below will help you know who to go to and what we are able to do to help you and your child in school.
Any questions, just get in touch with your child's class teacher.
As a parent, it can often be such a worry with regards to our children.
But there is support out there.
If you have any concerns about your child, including their mental health, we can help and there are other organisations that offer support and guidance. Please speak to your child's class teacher or contact the charity Young Minds on the details below.
On Wednesday this week a group of Y5 and Y6 boys attended a football tournament at CCS. Both Wootton A and Wootton B teams put in a fantastic performance, working hard and playing some brilliant football. The teams showcased great teamwork, scoring some well-earned goals through their determination and collaboration.
Despite being hit with bad weather, the players didn’t let it dampen their spirits. They pulled together, fought through the tough conditions, and continued to give it their all. Their resilience paid off, with both teams securing a well-deserved joint 3rd place finish!
A huge thank you to all the parents who braved the freezing cold to support and cheer on our school. Your encouragement made all the difference!
Well done, Wootton A and Wootton B – we are proud of you!
On Tuesday evening, 22 pupils from Wootton Primary represented the school incredibly at this year's CCS Science Festival. This was the first year that we had been invited to attend and we absolutely loved it. The pupils worked in small groups at home to prepare their Science projects and they presented them beautifully to the judges on the night. Not only did the pupils demonstrate our school values, they also followed all of the Principles of Science that we have been looking at this week. We had hydroelectric and wind powered light bulbs, AI robots, models of space and volcanos, and so much more. Congratulations to all of the participants with particular mention to RS, AJ and LT, who achieved 3rd place out of 80 entries! Thank you to the pupils and parents who made this happen - hopefully we will be back next year, bigger and better than ever!
