A reminder that all child absences should be reported to the school office via the absence line on 01604 761679. Please ensure that you call the school every day that your child is absent so that we can allocate their mark on the register accordingly. Unless you have discussed a specific exclusion period for your child's symptoms directly with the school office, please ensure that children are reported appropriately. Please ensure that you leave your child's name, class and their reason for absence in each message.
Please could parents also ensure that lateness is recorded on the office iPad. This will require parents to accompany their child into school and the reason for lateness should be disclosed.
Many thanks for your continued support.
Congratulations to the following pupils who have achieved their
BRONZE AWARD!
We'd like to congratulate all of the children below who have now reached their
BRONZE READER AWARD!
Well done to HS for leading his Beavers group in the Remembrance parade last Sunday. It's a significant event, and it’s fantastic that he was able to represent the group with such pride!
Congratulations to LK for her silver medal and a huge congrats to AT for winning gold! An amazing achievement for both of them!
The Eco Warriors are on a mission to collect toys for the Northampton Toy Library, and we need your help! If you're planning a clear-out and have any toys you no longer need, we would love to receive your donations. Please ensure that all toys are clean and in working order. If you’d like to contribute, kindly drop off your items at the school office. The deadline for donations is Friday, 22nd November. Thank you for supporting this wonderful initiative!
This week, the Anti-Bullying Committee hosted an engaging assembly aimed at raising awareness about the importance of standing against bullying and fostering a culture of kindness and respect within our school community. The assembly featured inspiring speakers and informative presentations that highlighted the effects of bullying on individuals and the community as a whole.
The event encouraged all attendees to take a stand against bullying and to contribute to creating a safe, supportive environment where everyone feels valued and respected. Overall, the assembly served as a powerful reminder of the impact we can make when we unite to promote positive change.
This week, the children at school embraced the spirit of Anti-Bullying Week by joining in the fun and wearing odd socks! It was heart-warming to see our children express their individuality and unity against bullying.
Odd socks remind us that it’s okay to be different and that our uniqueness is something to celebrate! Let's continue to support each other and promote kindness every day.
ESFA DISTRICT U11 BOYS FOOTBALL
A huge round of applause for these talented young athletes who showcased their skills and sportsmanship at the District Under-11 Football Tournament in Daventry this week! It was an incredible event filled with enthusiasm, teamwork, and determination. Each child put forth their best effort, not only demonstrating their athletic abilities but also embodying the spirit of camaraderie and fair play.
Your hard work and dedication, both in practice and on the field, truly shone through, making you all proud representatives of your team. We are excited to see how you continue to grow and develop as players and individuals in the future. Keep up the great work, and remember, every game is a valuable learning experience! Well done!
We would like to extend a huge thank you to all parents and carers who purchased tickets for our recent Halloween Disco. Your support is invaluable in making events like this a success.
We are also incredibly grateful to the dedicated volunteers from the WSA and staff members who gave up their time to make the event so much fun. Your hard work and enthusiasm helped create a truly memorable experience for all the children.
We look forward to seeing you all at our next event, Hotdog Night on the 10th of December!
The WSA are still looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help with organising enjoyable events such as fayres, discos, movie nights, and more. We also need assistance with initiatives like Healthy Tuck, Easter Raffles, and sales for Mother's and Father's Day.
Can you spare a little time to help us keep these activities vibrant for your children? If you’re interested in getting involved, please reach out to the school office at office@woottonprimaryschool.org
Your support is vital, and without it, we may struggle to continue these events. Thank you!
