We'd like to congratulate all of the children below who have now reached their
SILVER READER AWARD!
It's been an absolutely brilliant week in Year 2! Our caterpillars have now transformed into chrysalises, marking an exciting stage in their lifecycle.
On Wednesday afternoon, we had the amazing opportunity to participate in an interactive lesson with the National Archive Centre. The highlight? The children were captivated by a 165-year-old rat!
They also stepped into the shoes of historians, exploring real evidence from the archives, including maps and censuses, to uncover facts about the Great Fire of London in 1666 on Pudding Lane.
This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming PCSO Lee Shelton to our school! He held an engaging assembly for our children on the crucial topic of internet safety and staying safe online.
Our children learned valuable tips on how to navigate the online world safely, including the importance of privacy, being kind to others, and knowing who to turn to for help. It’s always a joy to empower our pupils with knowledge that helps keep them safe!
A big thank you to PCSO Lee Shelton for taking the time to share your expertise and encourage our children to make smart choices online.
Let's continue to work together to keep our children safe in all areas of their lives!
Congratulations, FF! (Fury Fists?) Winning silver in your judo competition at the weekend is a tremendous achievement, and you should be incredibly proud of yourself. We can’t wait to see what you accomplish next!
Process for parents and carers if you have concerns about your child's mental health or well-being.
At times, we can become concerned about our child's health and wellbeing, and it can sometimes be difficult to know where to go for support and guidance. Don't forget that we have a section on our school website that can signpost you to help and guidance for both your children and for yourself.
But if you would like to bring anything to our attention, then the flowchart below will help you know who to go to and what we are able to do to help you and your child in school.
Any questions, just get in touch with your child's class teacher.
As a parent, it can often be such a worry with regards to our children.

One of our dedicated parents is taking on an incredible challenge by abseiling down the Express Lift Tower dressed as Spiderman to raise funds for the Northampton Hope Centre. If you would like to support this worthy cause, please consider donating through the link below.
