On Wednesday, the choir had travelled from school to the community centre to sing for the Wootton Seniors at their Saint George’s Day celebrations, which was last week. The choir has been practicing for the May Festival (which is this Sunday) for months and we were so excited to complete our first performance. We arrived at the community centre and ran into our organised spaces and began to sing: I want it that way, Thank you for the music, Sing and I’m on my way, which is from the movie 'Brother Bear'. The experience was great fun and the seniors enjoyed it too - they even sang along with us for some of the songs! We all felt incredibly proud to represent our school and to have the opportunity to sing to a live audience.

After months of rehearsals, Ollie and his Born to Perform classmates finally got to showcase their hard work to an audience at The Old Savoy theatre on Sunday.
‘The Greatest Show’ saw Ollie and his dance class perform two dance numbers: one to "Cotton Eye Joe", and one to the Lion King’s "I Just Can’t Wait to Be King". They also did a signed performance of "A Million Dreams" from Greatest Showman.
This was the first time Ollie had performed multiple numbers to a live audience and despite feeling nervous, he did brilliantly alongside his friends and felt incredibly proud afterwards.
Hot Dog Night is coming soon! Make sure to check your emails for all the details and remember to make your payment through Arbor. We can't wait to see you there for some tasty treats!
Process for parents and carers if you have concerns about your child's mental health or well-being.
At times, we can become concerned about our child's health and wellbeing, and it can sometimes be difficult to know where to go for support and guidance. Don't forget that we have a section on our school website that can signpost you to help and guidance for both your children and for yourself.
But if you would like to bring anything to our attention, then the flowchart below will help you know who to go to and what we are able to do to help you and your child in school.
Any questions, just get in touch with your child's class teacher.
As a parent, it can often be such a worry with regards to our children.
But there is support out there.
If you have any concerns about your child, including their mental health, we can help and there are other organisations that offer support and guidance. Please speak to your child's class teacher or contact the charity Young Minds on the details below.
We wanted to remind parents/carers to please drive and park legally, safely and responsibly when dropping off and collecting your child/ren from school. We encourage parents/residents to report dangerous driving and parking using the below link.
Please THINK before you park.
Please THINK about pedestrians and those in wheelchairs or with pushchairs.
Please THINK about emergency services, your vehicle could be blocking their access.
Please refer to the Highway Code—Rules 238—252.
Offenders may receive penalty points and/or fine of up to £100.
Please report dangerous parking/driving to the non-emergency police number 101.
One of our dedicated parents is taking on an incredible challenge by abseiling down the Express Lift Tower dressed as Spiderman to raise funds for the Northampton Hope Centre. If you would like to support this worthy cause, please consider donating through the link below.
